Houston BOMA Foundation Scholarships
The Houston BOMA Foundation now offers scholarship funding for Houston BOMA members who are looking to further develop their career potential in commercial real estate. The following programs are available for scholarship funding:
- BOMI RPA, FMA, SMA, or SMT Courses
- BOMI "DNA of ESG" Certificate Course
- BOMA 101 Education Courses (Building Engineering Management 101 or Managing Industrial Properties 101)
- BOMA Foundations of Real Estate Management Course
The Houston BOMA Foundation will consider scholarship recommendations based on needs and the criteria provided in the candidate’s application. Each application will be reviewed, voted upon, and approved by the Houston BOMA Foundation Board of Trustees, and announced at the Annual Awards Extravaganza in December.
If you are a member in good standing and pursuing a designation, certification, or educational course for foundational knowledge, we encourage you to apply.
Applications are now closed. Winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Extravaganza on December 6.
Important Information
Dates
- Applications open each fall for scholarships that apply to the following year's courses.
- Scholarships will be awarded at our Annual Awards Extravaganza each year.
Scholarship Eligibility
- Must be a current Houston BOMA member in good standing (either through individual or company/building membership).
- Adhere to enrollment requirements of the educational provider and meet deadlines to apply and test within defined parameters.
- Demonstrate commitment to continued learning by including how the educational program selected would improve their career development and growth.
Scholarships Amounts Awarded
- Scholarships will cover the full cost of the course through the designated provider.
- Scholarships will be limited to one (1) course per student per year.
