Houston BOMA Launches New Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee

Houston BOMA is dedicated to fostering a more diverse and inclusive industry. Our new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will play a pivotal role in proactively developing intentional strategies to eliminate barriers and ensure access, participation, and success for individuals historically excluded or marginalized within the commercial real estate industry.

We are seeking volunteers for this new committee. Criteria for committee membership includes:

• Cross-functional, multi-level, with diverse backgrounds
• Passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• Knowledge, education, and/or lived experience
• Commitment and accountability
• Open to learning
• Good communicator
• Courage to be humble, vulnerable, adaptable, and uncomfortable
• Committee members will serve three (3) year terms
