About Us
The more than 600 members of Houston BOMA create more than $4 billion in annual tax revenues for the City of Houston. Houston BOMA members own or manage more than 200 million square feet of commerical properties in Houston and the surrounding area and are responsible for buildings with tax valuations of over $16 billion. Our over 2,000 member buildings house more than 1.5 million Houstonians each day of the work week and support over 28,000 jobs in the Houston economy.
Our members have 24-hour a day responsibility for the safety, physical well-being and security of thousands of people housed in office buildings managed by this industry.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Houston Building Owners and Managers Association is to support and advance the interest of the commercial real estate industry. Houston BOMA will be an organization of advocacy and sustainable building practices that utilizes the strengths, talents, and leadership of its members and industry associates to build value and lasting relationships with our community through professional development, networking and sharing of information.
