This September, the EPA is excited to present the launch of the 2016 ENERGY STAR National Building Competition: BOOTCAMP! In this year’s competition, more than 800 buildings from across the country are competing in a high-intensity, 90-day battle to see who can work off the waste and reduce their energy and water use the most.
This year’s roster includes new and legacy competitors—including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, who took home a top spot in the 2015 competition—and others, such as:
A professional ballet studio in Georgia
Fire Station 35 in Kansas City, Missouri
A beach resort in North Carolina
An academic building at Northwestern University
East Texas Food Bank’s distribution center
NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City
An historic house museum in Atlanta
Check out an interactive map of competitors on the EPA website.
