On Premise Sign Ordinance Up for Vote 


City Council will take an initial look at the proposed changes to the On Premise Sign Ordinance next week. Significant changes: existing signs are grandfathered except for electronic signs. All changes to the electronic variety of signs will be applicable with the effective date of the Ordinance, and there are many changes to electronic signs - especially signs with changeable messages. The Ordinance also establishes a Sign Advisory Council and eliminates roof signage.
